Continuing its high growth momentum,  the BHEL unit of Haridwar has achieved new benchmarks  in its performance throughout 2011-12.

”There has been a big increase in majority of  its growth parameters,” said V Pandhi, the chief  director of the significant Electricals Equipments Plant (HEEP), the main unit of the BHEL Haridwar.



Addressing mediapersons nowadays, the chief  director same throughout the year the turnover of the BHEL Haridwar had augmented to Rs 5927 crore together with Rs 5415 crore,  of the HEEP and Rs 512 crore of the Central mill Forge Plant (CFFP), the second unit of the BHEL Haridwar.

The turnover of the HEEP this year has augmented by twenty seven per cent as compared to Rs 4249 crore within the previous year. The profit before tax (PBT) of the HEEP this year has gone  up to Rs 725 crores, as against Rs 671 large integer throughout the  year 2010-2011, Mr Pandhi said.

The part of this year’s performance has been the primary time producing of 600 MW thermal sets at HEEP. throughout the year vi steam turbines and three generators of 600 MW  were factory-made and delivered with success to the  customers. throughout this year, Rs 104 crores are spent  on R&D perform, which is 9.5 per cent beyond last year.
